Maker of the Moment: Iordanes Spyridon Gogos

Here at pland we applaud game-changers, and Iordanes Spyridon Gogos has created a camp celebration of community that we can't stop talking about.
Following their debut at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week 2021, the brand has ignited a conversation about diversity and meaningful representation in the local fashion industry. A variety of models and personalities graced the runway to present a new era of storytelling via clothing, spotlighting both inclusivity and imagination at centre stage.
Electric, exuberant, and energetic are just a few fitting adjectives for the show and each individual piece, as designer Jordan Gogos vibrantly demonstrated the spirit of fashion as adornment, creating wearables for the imaginative.
Committed to conscious and ethical creation, Gogos ushered a full house of guests into a jubilant arena of vivacious art, fashion, and movement. The colourful set reverberated with the disco sounds of Ace of Base and Aqua as Gogos successfully had feet tapping, heads turning, and tongues wagging. The collection was wonderfully witty, resisting the bounds of typical fashion week runways to produce a performance truly representative of the brand's tagline - art as wearables.
